No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine (John 15:4).

As an employee of Presbyterian Homes & Services, theVine is your source for accurate information and news. The name, theVine, was inspired by the imagery Jesus used in the Gospel of John. On the night before his crucifixion, Jesus told his disciples that he would only be with them a little while longer, and they were afraid. Jesus comforted them. He knew that death would feel like an unbridgeable distance for them.
But Jesus said, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener." He told them that no matter the physical distance between them, that they would remain connected. "Remain in me as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine." As our ministry continues to grow, this site can help us stay connected.
